Neighborhood Business Highlights (NBH) – Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms of Service

By purchasing advertising space on Neighborhood Business Highlights (NBH) mailers, you (the Advertiser) agree to these Terms of Service. These terms are legally binding and govern your participation in our cooperative mailer program.

2. Advertising Content & Approval

Advertisers must provide all artwork, logos, and ad copy by the specified deadline. If Neighborhood Business Highlights is providing you with the artwork, logos, and ad copy, Advertisers must proofread, request any changes or revisions to be made, and provide a final approval by the specified deadline. 

All content must comply with local, state, and federal laws and cannot include false or misleading claims.

Neighborhood Business Highlights reserves the right to reject or request modifications to any advertisement that does not meet quality or ethical standards.

Final ad approval is the responsibility of the Advertiser. Neighborhood Business Highlights is not responsible for any typos, errors, or inaccuracies in the final print once the Advertiser has reviewed and approved the design. It is the Advertiser’s responsibility to proofread and confirm all details, including offers, offer expiration dates, business information, QR code links, and contact details.

3. Advertiser Offers, Deals & Discounts

Neighborhood Business Highlights is not responsible for any advertiser failing to honor or fulfill their advertised offer, deal, or discount as printed in the mailer.

Any disputes regarding offers must be handled directly between the Advertiser and the customer.

4. Payment & Refunds

Full payment is required before ad placement to secure a spot in the mailer.

Payments are non-refundable once the design approval process has begun.

In the event of cancellation by the Advertiser after submission, Neighborhood Business Highlights retains the right to keep payment as a cancellation fee.

5. Mailer Distribution & Delivery

Neighborhood Business Highlights guarantees that each mailer will be distributed to the agreed number of households and businesses within the designated area or zip-code.

Delivery dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as postal delays or printing issues.

Neighborhood Business Highlights is not responsible for variations in response rates from recipients.

6. Liability Disclaimer

Neighborhood Business Highlights is not liable for errors in the final print if the Advertiser approved the design.

Neighborhood Business Highlights does not guarantee specific results (e.g., sales, calls, foot traffic) from advertising participation.

Advertisers assume all responsibility for the accuracy and legality of their advertisements.
